Studio Policies & Information

Tuition & Billing

Lessons are billed at a flat monthly rate to reserve your exclusive weekly time slot. The monthly schedule consists of exactly 4 weeks of lessons. During months that happen to have a 5th week for your scheduled day, that 5th week will be taken off.

  • Half-Hour Lessons: $125 / month
  • Full-Hour Lessons: $250 / month

Tuition operates similarly to a gym membership: your monthly payment secures your place. Because that time is held specifically for you, the rate remains the same whether you utilize all of your scheduled lessons that month or not.

Cancellations & Absences

Consistency is key to musical progress. However, I understand that life happens.

  • Student Emergencies: We can reschedule or arrange a makeup lesson within a one-week timeframe, strictly subject to my current availability.
  • Teacher Absences: If I take planned time off, you will not be charged. If I cancel due to an emergency, your tuition will be prorated or refunded for that missed lesson.

Trial Month & Referrals

New students are welcome to try up to one month of lessons on a pay-per-lesson basis before committing to tuition. Trial rates are $35 per half-hour and $65 per full-hour.

Referral Program: Word-of-mouth is the highest compliment! If you refer a new student and they sign up for a full month, you will receive one free lesson.

Performances & Recording

Taking lessons here goes beyond just the weekly half-hour. I set up a yearly concert for students to perform live for friends and family.

Additionally, a handful of times a year, I encourage my students to record high-quality drum videos and covers utilizing the professional audio and video gear available right here in the studio.

Professional DJ & MC Services

Turnkey, high-end audio and entertainment featuring professional-grade turntablism gear, dynamic lighting, and multi-enclosure sound reinforcement.

  • Weddings (Flat Rate Package): $1,800
  • Private Events: $200 / hour (3-hour minimum)

Commercial-grade Electro-Voice sound systems and Chauvet lighting packages available for dry hire. Full delivery, setup, and strike services available.

  • Top-Only System: $180 – $220 / day
  • Full System (with 18" Sub): $250 – $300 / day
